Surf Bagel Lewes is where it all started. Our flagship has been serving the Lewes community since 2004 from its spot on Route 1 between Lewes and Rehoboth, and the doors open at 6:30am every day, so you can grab breakfast before work, before the beach, or before anyone else in the house is awake. Every bagel is made from scratch the traditional New York way: kettle-boiled, slowly cold-fermented, and baked in a revolving oven for that golden crust and chewy bite. It's why Surf Bagel was voted Best Bagels in Sussex County by Coastal Style and Best Breakfast Spot in Delaware by Delaware Today.

Not sure what to order? The team's favorites are the Hangover Bagel (Taylor Ham, bacon, scrapple, extra American, egg and a hashbrown patty), the Malibu Bunny (veggie cream cheese, avocado, lettuce and tomato), a classic Nova & Cream Cheese, and the Blue Hen, a chicken salad BLT on a scooped Old Bay bagel. We serve lunch until 2:00pm too, with signature wraps like the Tuna Kahuna and Menehune, cheesesteaks, salads, and fried rockfish or shrimp tacos and burritos.
