SURF BAGEL READING PROGRAM!

The Surf Bagel Reading Program was launched in April 2026 with a small number of schools as we continue building the program. With such a warm reception from students, teachers, and parents, we’re excited to expand to more schools this fall.

Our primary goal is to support teachers in helping local students meet reading goals—and develop a lifelong love of books!

• How the program works:

  • Teachers or school administrators can request participation by filling out the form below

  • Once approved, Surf Bagel provides your school with Reading Program Certificates

  • Teachers set reading goals for their students

  • Students who meet their goals receive a certificate

  • Students can then visit Surf Bagel, present their certificate to our staff, and enjoy a FREE bagel & cream cheese as their reward.
